User Guide for Thirdeye 0.9
Thirdeye is ready to use right out of the box. It will learn about monsters and npcs as you encounter them. Initially that may be unnerving as it shows every brown bunny you run by. You can quickly tell Thirdeye that you do not want to see them any more by selecting one of the little critters and clicking on the Hide button at the bottom. They will no longer be shown. You can also set monsters to show, to hunt or to warn. You can override thirdeye temporarily to players, NPCs and Monsters (yes those little brown bunnies are monsters).
Thirdeye's display has two modes, the tracking mode and the setup mode. Most actions can be done from tracking mode. From that display, becides seeing all the monsters, players and NPCs in the area, you can control what you see, change the tracking status as you enchounter them. Setup mode will not be needed until you are ready to make major changes to what you are tracking. In setup mode you can change the tracking status of any monster you have encounters while running Thirdeye.
Top Row Controls
These controls determine what is displayed Thirdeye. Anytime these buttons are displayed the display is updated. Through these buttons, you can control if Thirdeye will display the mobs on the list, if the list will be forced to display or if a message is to be displayed. The only mob that will be always displayed is those that are specified as warn.
- All - Checking this instructs Thirdeye to show all the mods in the area, this in not recommended for normal use. But is quite helpful when trying to locate a specific NPC in a town or trying to find a specific vendor in the marketspace.
- New - Checking this instruct Thirdeye to show all mobs that no tracking instructions have been given for. This is great for finding mobs that you have not seen before like right after patches and when adventureing in new areas. When first starting up with Thirdeye, you may want to uncheck this, sense every mob is new.
- Show - When checked, This instruct Thirdeye to show all monsters you wish shown. Normally this should be checked. Occationally you may not want to see normal mobs, such as when on quests or activily hunting for specific mobs.
- Hunt - When checked, Thirdeye shows mobs you are hunting for. Normally this would be checked. Occationally you may not want to be hunting like when on quests.
- Popup - When this is checked, Thirdeye will force the list to be displayed whenever a New, Hunted or Warn Mobs is encountered and added to the tracking list.
- Chat - When this checked, A text message is displayed with Mob's name and location when any mob is encountered and added to the tracking list.
